In comparison, the EcoBoost engine produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Fuel Economy: Despite its greater power, the Dodge Ram only gets an EPA-estimated 17 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway. This is less than the Ford, which averages up to 25 mpg on the highway. As such, the F-150 is capable of getting more miles from a tank of gas than the Dodge Ram.
Interior Features: The Ram truck comes with a simplistic interior that offers plenty of storage. For tech lovers, the Uconnect infotainment system comes with an array of features, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In contrast, the Ford F-150 offers the latest SYNC system which comes with a voice-activated touchscreen. Owners will also enjoy amenities such as Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, and over-the-air software updates.
Safety: The Ford F-150 comes with a plethora of standard safety features, including pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. The Dodge Ram has many of the same features but lacks lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking.
Price: The Ford F-150 starts at around $28,745, whereas the Dodge Ram starts at $33,490. As such, the Ford is more affordable than the Dodge in most circumstances.
